When I taught kindergarten (what seems like a million years ago), I used to love making coloring pages for every occasion and holiday! Now that I’m retired and teaching my son at home, I still love to make him coloring pages on a whim!
The weather finally snapped here in Texas and it went from 90° to 55° in less than 12 hours! So, even though it’s a bit early, I decided to make this Christmas coloring page on a whim today!
What I really love about coloring pages in general, is that they help prepare children for learning to write. Most kids want to hold the crayon or marker incorrectly, but when it doesn’t color well they accept help with their grip when they normally might not.
I usually like to print a few copies out on cardstock, so that my son can color it in a few different color variations.
No matter how you print it, color it, or use it afterwards – this cute Christmas coloring page is a fun Christmas activity for all ages!
