Sometimes you just need an easy dinner that takes less than a minute to throw in the oven! This cranberry sauce chicken is the perfect fall recipe for those times!
So, you’re looking for some easy recipes that don’t take too long for those days when you need to fix dinner in a hurry.
I’m sure they don’t come around often, because you probably have a ton of time to cook most days… BAHAHA! Yeah I know, I don’t either.
This recipe is a delicious lifesaver for the nights when all I can do is open a single jar. And let’s be honest, that’s more nights than I’d care to admit!
All you need for this amazing main dish is a few chicken breasts and a can of cranberry sauce! We like to use an old family recipe for homemade cranberry sauce, but after this batch is gone, who knows when I’ll be able to make more!
The canned stuff from the store works just fine as well!
And since it’s the fall season (finally!) it’s a perfect time to make this! You can pair it with just about any starch and veggie combination you can think of… making it a great way to use up any leftovers!

- 2-4 Chicken Breasts
- 1-2 Cans Cranberry Sauce Whole Berry
-
Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.
-
Pour cranberry sauce evenly across all of the chicken.
-
Bake at 425° for 40 minutes if frozen.
-
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes if thawed.
-
Either way you bake it, make sure the internal temperature is at least 165° by using a meat thermometer.
You can use jellied cranberry sauce for this, just mix it vigorously with a fork while it's still in the can so that it will spread easily across the chicken.
