Here’s the thing about valentines. They are already super cheap- seriously even at non-dollar stores, packs of them can often be found for only a dollar or two.
Affordability is great, but there’s nothing very special about store bought valentines. They usually go in the trash prettttttty quickly.
I’ve seen some beautiful handmade valentine ideas, but I’m not necessarily looking to make this borderline fake holiday especially complicated while the kids are young!

Instead of giving all the kids in class or homeschool co-op or siblings some random, premade valentines, why not have your child color them all a special picture? Depending on how many you’d need to make, I recommend starting early (read: NOT the night before)!
Or if you’d like to give a valentine that is for more than just looking at, print out enough coloring pages for however many kids your child wants to give them to.
Skip the coloring — carefully fold them and tuck them into business envelopes. Then let your child decorate the front of the envelopes! It will be fun for the child receiving the gift to have a special coloring page to fill in!
