For a totally different chalk experience, try homemade chalk PAINT! This isn’t chalkboard paint – it won’t turn anything into a chalkboard. It’s also not the type of chalk paint people use on their cabinets/furniture. It’s a simple & easy recipe for what is essentially LIQUID sidewalk chalk! Bonus – it’s a slightly less-intense process than the Homemade Sidewalk Chalk above.

It’s that time of year, Easter is a spring holiday! These hollow wooden eggs are sure to become a treasured favorite over the years. I’m considering making it a tradition for every kid to paint one wooden Easter egg per year, that way we can see how their art skills develop as we grow our non-plastic Easter egg collection.

How To Press Flowers

Why not press some real flowers to solidify the flower theme? Spring is full of blooms.. just keep your eyes peeled! I used to think I needed a fancy flower press to do the work, but turns out, a book works just as well. This is a spring craft for kids and grown ups alike!
